Client: EasyJet
The brief from easyJet was to design a crew handbag, using ultra tough and lightweight outer shell in PU black color and orange color (PMS 021C). Branding includes trims in easyJet pantone and an elegant embroidered discrete metal plate logo.
Client: Virgin Australia
The brief from Virgin was to design a crew bag optimised for packing efficiency, while maintaining cabin-friendly dimension. The crew bag is made from 600D durable lightweight nylon (Global compliance REACH and EN71 standards), includes interior laptop pocket (fully padded) and spacious garment compartment and an exterior pocket for easy access. Branding includes trims in Virgin pantone and an embroidered discrete logo.
Client: ETIHAD
We were briefed by Etihad to design a range of cabin bags for their crew. With a mix of short and long-haul flights this required a mix of trolley bag designs, sized to comply with limited on board space.
Client: JET2 Airways
JET2 Airline briefed GATE8 to design and manufacture their crew four wheeled trolley bag - ensuring it was built to the highest quality standards, i needed to endure high frequency use across very busy winter and summer seasonal travel - using pantone matched colour trims and piping along with internal lining using their JET2 colours. The additional external TSA secure lock ensures safe and secure travel.

Alistair Callender
Alistair graduated with a first class honours degree in Electrical Engineering and went on to have a successful IT career with companies such as Oracle Consulting and BSKYB Limited before embarking on his most challenging and exciting journey of forming GATE8 Luggage.
As a frequent flyer for business, it was Alistair’s frustration at airport baggage check-in and collection queues that first gave him the idea for his company, GATE8 Luggage. With many passengers being forced to pay excess baggage fees and wasting valuable time, thanks to airlines’ varying baggage requirements, he set about designing his own universally-accepted carry-on luggage – targeted at business travellers.
Alistair went onto to design and secure IP protection for numerous luggage designs, which enabled Alistair and the team to grow GATE8 to be one of the most successful B2B Luggage businesses - with airlines across the World benefiting from the unique set of skills and experiences that GATE8 deliver to their clients.
